About me

During my three years studying Digital Design & Innovation in Halmstad University we were a part of a class called "design studios" which basically was design projects with real life clients. It was an oppurtunity for us to get experience and connections with a real life work practice. During the summer of 2020 I had my first real job as a designer at a start-up company called Bruger. I got a lot of important experience of a real workplace and learned a lot about being a designer working closely with developers and other co-workers. Without coming with excuses, the covid years made it hard to find new work and I felt that I needed to explore and reiterate my knowledge within UX design. I therefore decided to study for a masters degree and spark my motivation even more. I am currently writing my masters dissertation and plan on graduating the summer of 2024 and I am therefore ready for a new challenge.

Design & Product Development

2012 - 2015

In high school, I studied in the technology program specialising in design & product development. We had a distinct approach to sustainability and design in different contexts like architecture and product design. The programs we used were mainly Rhinoceros 3D CAD and Google Sketch. I also learned the basics in HTML, CSS, Photoshop and Premiere Pro.

Digital Design & Innovation (Bachelor)

2017 - 2020

At the start of the education after high school there was a lot of focus on freehand drawing sketches of different website or application interfaces. Later on, the focus shifted towards a more strategic perspective where we would discuss and reflect on bigger questions and issues in the informatics society. We also had a course called “Design studio” were we, divided into groups, worked a real case with a real company. The point was to get into what it would be like to work as developers in real life and become familiar with the design process.

User Experience & Interactive Media Design (Master)

2022 - 2024

I decided to continue my studies to broaden and specify my knowledge within the user experience sphere. The program has included elements of design theory and research, critical design, game design research and AI in UX. The focus has been on both group work and individual reflections. Compared to my bachelor, there was a relatively small focus on the practical use of traditional wireframing using, for example, Adobe XD or Figma. This has sparked my inspiration to try and develop my own skills and learn more about the practical elements of UX design.

Work experience (UX/UI)

Bruger AB

Summer 2020

The first year after my studies I got a summer job in a start-up company that needed help with designing their new platform. I worked together with another designer and it was our job to design wireframes while having a distinct perspective in user experience. I learned a lot about the design process and how to be responsible over planning, delivering and iterating designs. You can read more, and find reference contact in the project section under "Bruger".

My hobbies outside of design include hanging out with friends and watching sports. I mainly watch football but any sport (actually any kind of competition) can grab my attention. I don't play a lot of sports myself anymore but i love to go skiing in either the Swedish mountains or the Alps and I have recently gotten into snowboarding as well. Going on trips always inspires me to be creative, so i always take my camera with me when going on a longer trip. Photography is also one of my hobbies and I use my camera to take photos but also film and cut short movies for the fun of it. Below are some of the photos I've taken the last couple of years.
